The production manager provides day to day leadership of the manufacturing team to assure production needs are met while following proper safety and quality standards. This position works closely with members of the product development and supply chain to ensure continuity in product offering and company goals. The production manager is also responsible for adhering to and promoting the company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company. ? Manage the day to day operations of the production area to meet and exceed customers? expectations and company objectives. ? Establish policies and make decisions guiding productivity, quality, and cost efficiency of plant operations. ? Ensure proper paperwork is completed for production (Batch Records, production reports, etc). ? Enforce high Operational stands (cGMPs, EHS and OSHA regulations). ? Prioritize tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time and streamline processes to maximize productivity. ? Allocate resources effectively and utilize assets to produce optimum results and on-time shipping to customers. ? Ensure required training is carried out and in line with productions? needs. ? Guide, monitor, and develop the production team to foster continuous improvement. Set realistic objectives and clearly assign accountability and responsibility for tasks and decisions. ? Participate in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and management of the production staff in the organization. ? Manage performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback as required.
