The Controller position is a full-time opportunity in the Springfield, Missouri region. Your responsibilities - Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash - Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the yearly budget and forecasts - Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners - Perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Review deliverables of self and team to align with client expectations
