Looking for a File Clerk who will assist attorneys and administrators in everyday tasks around the office such as filing, sorting, scanning, and other clerical duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Sort or classify information according to guidelines, such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order. ? Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users. ? Scan or read incoming materials to determine how and where they should be classified or filed. ? Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information. ? Organize and maintain file room as well as filing system. ? Perform general office duties and errands. ? Gather materials to be filed from departments or employees. ? Handle copy jobs as needed. ? Order supplies and maintain inventory as needed. ? Maintain office equipment as needed.
