SPS Consultants face the challenge of bringing their experience to many diverse client environments and are seen as subject-matter experts. Due to immense growth, we are looking to add another Senior Program Manager to our talented team. We are looking for a strong, up-and-coming engineer with fantastic potential for growth and learning. Ideal candidates will have a background in technology or business, and harbor a deep passion for learning and developing great products. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Program Manager who has always wanted to work as a consultant but doesn't want to take on the risk or burden of finding their own projects and likes the idea of full time, permanent employment. Projects generally run from 6-18 months and consultants maintain employment with RHT between engagements. The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead and motivate our teams by coming up with and driving innovative and measurable solutions to maximize efficiency for team members, while creating the best experiences for our customers. She/he will be responsible for managing programs of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the lifecycle. This role will manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. ? Work with engineering, product and business teams to define scope, timeline and resourcing for technology transition programs. ? Define communication plan for program. Lead communication within the team, to stakeholders and at cross-functional meetings ? Confidently manage communication plans with senior-level customers and internal business partners ? Identify and track risks to engineering delivery and overall program schedule ? Dig into technical issues impacting customers. Partner with product management and engineering leads to prioritize work on team backlog. ? Run reporting against progress for overall program schedule ? Keep engineering and business teams and senior executives updated on project timelines and results. ? Evaluate existing processes and procedures. Make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. ? Conduct change management efforts of moderate to high complexity impacting one or multiple mission's cross-functional processes
