Our Client a Federal Credit Union is need of a Sr. Benefits Administrator for an Immediate Start!

Under the leadership of the Total Rewards Manager, the Senior Benefits Administrator administers and assists in the development and implementation of benefits programs including medical, dental, supplemental policies, retirement and 401K plans.

Essential responsibilities include:

Manages vendor performance proactively communicates expectations, reviews ongoing performance/efficiency and identifies areas for improvements, ensures vendor carry-out.

Manages annual benefits enrollment processes; assists as needed to enroll associates into benefits plans. Analyzes performance and effectiveness of benefits, programs, and projects and recommends changes/ improvements.

Uses advanced knowledge and expertise to provide day to day administration of the benefits plans including medical, dental, supplemental policies, retirement and 401k plans.

Work closely with Total Rewards Manager on the implementation, ongoing delivery and strategic direction of corporate benefit plans, including health, wellness and retirement benefits.

Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information. Responsible for consistent and regulatory compliance administration of FMLA.

Advanced knowledge and experience in health and welfare and retirement benefits administration, legislation, and design.

Must possess advanced technical skills: e.g., Excel, MS Word, and other MS Office and HRIS systems. ? Takes analytical approach to problem-solving. Knowledge and Understanding of compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Supervises preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.

A breast with current on changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and reports necessary or suggested changes to management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities ? Thorough knowledge of Benefits laws, rules, and regulations ? Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ? Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills ? Strong customer orientation ? Ability to uphold strict confidentiality

Education and Experience ? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience ? 5-10 years? experience in benefits administration or insurance administration ? Minimum 2 years? experience in staff management
