As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Arrange monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Ad-hoc projects as required
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Organize quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of property accounting
Strong familiarity with financial reconciliation
Financial reporting experience preferred
Adeptness in commercial loans
General ledger experience highly desired
Vow to meet business deadlines
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
