Robert Half Finance is looking for an ambitious Controller to join a well-respected services company. This is a leadership role with responsibility over an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. What you get to do every single day - Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible - Treasury functions - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accountants and payroll - Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Capable of handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties - Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Ensure deliverables of self and team meet client expectations - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis
