Major responsibilities

  • Verify received material to pinpoint irregularities, inspect articles and reject defective ones

  • Chiefly accountable for counting, classifying, and maintaining a considerable inventory of items

  • Carefully perform daily operations with immediacy; consent to Company policies

  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Analyst

  • Handle data entry responsibilities, prepare inventory records and reports, and study documentation discrepancies

  • Performing all necessary internal and external audit assistance

  • Interacting with internal business partners to deliver excellent customer service

  • Complete special projects as necessary

  • Some inventory experience helpful

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Inventory experience desired

  • Deep understanding of numeric data entry

  • Enterprise resource planning experience

  • Inventory planning reporting experience

  • Microsoft Excel experience highly desired

  • Prefer candidates with basic knowledge of Inventory Management Software

  • Preferably have basic experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities

  • Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

  • Candidates holding an AA or BS/BA degree with a focus in Accounting preferred

  • Familiarization with logistics records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued
