Robert Half International Patient Care Coordinator in Dallas, Texas
The Patient Coordinator work area is always at the front of the office where they are able to greet and or check out patients in a pleasant and helpful manner whether by phone or in person.
One of the major keys to the success of this position will be the ability to develop trusting relationships with new patients, existing patients and referring doctors, as well as maintain a positive work ethic and excellent patient care services.

Checking in and Greeting Patients making them feel welcome in our office.
Give patients necessary paperwork. Make sure paperwork is complete, verify spelling/address and there is a signature, zip codes and referring doctors.
Registering New Patients
Updating Existing Patients
Notifying Back Office with wait time.
Watching patient wait times and flow of patients going back.
Collecting co-payments when necessary
Insurance Verifications when necessary
Post-Operative Phone Calls and documenting
Scanning reports and mailing/emailing as necessary
Opening and Closing Office procedures
Backing up check out desk and Insurance Desk.
