The Sales Coordinator is responsible for all activities involved in the processing of incoming sales orders for new forklifts and equipment. The associate in this position will work with the Territory Account Managers to ensure all orders are accurate before submitting to Toyota. The Sales Coordinator is instrumental in ensuring we attain a high level of customer satisfaction with new equipment as measured by the Voice of the Customer (VOC). Requirements: ? Process incoming sales orders for new forklifts and equipment ? Review sales orders for accuracy and address discrepancies with the Territory Account Managers in a positive manner ? Submit to Service department any demos, verifying dates for delivery and pick-up ? Track status of new equipment (i.e. backlog, on order, ship ins, and other requested statistics) ? Set-up all standard warranties in the system based on sales order ? Participate in meetings with sales and service departments to review deliveries ? Apply for any incentives offered by the manufacturer ? Order equipment, attachments, batteries and other material handling products specified on sales order ? Obtain freight quotes when necessary ? Issue purchase orders to vendors ? Track and expedite vendor orders ? Process vendor invoices accurately, forwarding information to Accounts Payable ? Create New Prep and Delivery Inspection (NPDI) work orders for the Service department to execute ? Maintain gross profit worksheet ? Create and distribute Toyota Delivery Experience packet as needed ? Invoice customer sales orders ? Maintain files of sales orders for research and audit ? Maintain proper inventory of product literature ? Prepare Assignment of Proceeds (AOP) as needed ? Enter customer credit applications as needed ? Post the daily movement of trucks and equipment into and out of the facility ? Coordinate any export activity through independent third-party registered export brokers ?
