PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the CIO, Manager of Enterprise Architecture, and Manager of Technology Operations to promote and advance the use of technology in a manner that promotes technical literacy, advances the Midrex mission, and supports all strategic plans.

  • Ensure alignment of projects with agreed strategic IT roadmaps and target architectures.

  • Identify and evaluate software solutions/products for future implementation.

  • Serve as the primary interface with assigned business departments for the purpose of IT specific project management, solution discovery delivery, business solutions performance optimization, business solutions service level management, expectation management, and relationship management.

  • Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business function requests, projects and initiatives.

  • Analyzes business requirements, assesses existing business and technology environment, and designs solutions that meets business requirements and standards. Advises stakeholders on options, priorities, and risks. Develops the business case to support a decision to invest and move forward with the solution.

  • Help create and support a unified information management program across all business solutions (i.e. avoid data silos and create better information flow, with a single system of record).

  • Configures, tests, and implements solutions to support business processes using out-of-the box capabilities, and documents solution design and configuration for support purposes.

  • Leads the development and implementation of standards, environment refresh, change management and governance processes, etc., to support the enterprise and long-term sustainability of our business solutions. Works closely with the Corporate Information Center (CIC) to define governed information management standards to ensure they are implemented into the solution delivery processes.

  • Oversees the work of internal and external development resources to ensure development efforts integrate with and follow enterprise design, development, and governance standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of managing data-centric enterprise business solutions

  • Minimum of 2 years supporting and training digital technology solutions to internal users.

  • Experience gathering end user collaboration requirements and working with cross-functional teams to maintain product / feature backlogs.

  • Experience with training content creation and delivery as well as one-on-one end user support.

  • Experience managing enterprise business applications that drive workforce productivity and business workflows such as: enterprise imaging, file sharing, knowledge management, change management, etc.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, while maintaining overall focus of project and department objectives.

  • Proven ability and desire to work as a team player.

  • Organized with attention to detail.

  • Leadership skills which influence beyond formal authority.

  • Minimum of 5 years of SharePoint experience, including enterprise deployments of SharePoint, intranet portals, search, metadata management, collaboration, workflow, etc.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Office 365 experience
