Robert Half Office Team Customer Service Representative in SHELBYVILLE, Indiana

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the Company. Assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries via phone, email or fax. Management of all customer transactions from order entry to invoicing in order to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media

  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.

  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale.

  • Suggest solutions when a product malfunctions.

  • Handle product recalls.

  • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes.

  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.

  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication both internally and externally.

  • Follow communication guidelines, procedures, policies.

  • Provide support to the sales team as requested or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices. Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters. Excellent communication and presentation skill. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Articulate and professional when communicating via phone or email. Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Lync) PREFERRED SKILLS Advanced knowledge or experience with MS Office Suite. Proven customer support experience.
