Robert Half Finance & Accounting Payroll Specialist in Salinas, California
Our fun, fast pace office is currently looking for a full-time Permanent Payroll Specialist to enter payroll time and process bi-weekly while one of our key employees is out on leave. Position would start as soon as possible and would be M-F from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Responsibilities:
Investigates and rectifies authorized or unauthorized and pending deductions
First point of contact for time and attendance and payroll
Processes payroll and maintains payroll information as required including data entry for time and attendance and personnel transactions such as new hire, terminations, leaves of absence, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc.
Administers 401(k); including certified payroll when necessary
Responsible for maintaining and documenting employee timesheets, lunch times, and time off work forms, also responsible for reporting any time infractions to management
