Strong understanding of Desktop/Laptop, Server, Networking, Active Directory, Box, VOIP and Cloud systems.
Manage and maintain LAN/WAN including Active Directory, O365, Azure AD, email distribution list and security groups.
Execute high priority projects (Active Directory Re-organization, Email Distribution List Rework, Network Folder Security rework, Desktop Image Build)
Provide on-site Desktop and remote support to business with PC Hardware/software needs.
Ability to work in a distributed environment across time zones and regions.
Perform system administration duties for Active Directory, Office 365, Desktop Backup, Box, Antivirus, Desktop Imaging System, Skype for Business, WebEx, VMWare and Video Conference systems.
Performs software distribution and patch management to Windows PCs.
Knowledge of ITSM tools or ticketing systems (e.g. Service Now, Remedy, Service Desk Plus)
Manage the deployment, maintenance, and tracking of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software, and peripherals
Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new products, processes, and technologies.
Develops and communicates technical, systems and application standards and ensures compliance with existing standards
Create, modify, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Job Aids related to Service Desk Operations.
Conduct new employee IT orientation and IT security awareness training.
Creates and maintains systems documentation for testing and validation.
Performs post-implementation support, identifying root cause with strategic solutions to problems.
Works with vendors to analyze and troubleshoot solutions
Serve as the technical escalation point of contact for the Service Desk teams.
Identify new solutions and services for the IT Service Desk team that align with business objectives.
Contributes to the project planning of hardware and software procurement process
Custodian of the knowledgebase used by the IT Service Desk team
Ability to drive projects through to completion
Implement Pearl's desktop technologies strategy and assists in overall IT Operations
Participate in after-hours support as needed.
