OfficeTeam is searching for a Brokerage Assistant to support 3 brokers at a downtown financial institution. In this position the candidate will be opening new accounts, maintaining records, preparing mailings, filing hardcopy and electronic documents, answering the phones, corresponding via email and obtaining approvals for FA communications. To be successful in this position, experience in word processing, excel, managing documents and records, general knowledge of the brokerage industry and securities regulations and basic knowledge of investment products is helpful. Essential Duties -Assist with clerical work such as filing, data entry and document management -Open new customer accounts -Update and maintain client accounts -Communicate effectively over the phone and via email to clients -Obtain approvals for FA(s) -Additional administrative support as necessary A Successful Candidate will have: -Excellent communication skills -Focused, hardworking and a fast learner -Comfortable learning new terminology -Experience within the financial industry To Apply:
