Robert Half Office Team HR Generalist needed in Norman in Norman, Oklahoma
Materials client in Norman is looking to bring on an HR Generalist for a full time opportunity. Responsibilities include:
Performs all activities to process one or more payrolls in a timely manner, including maintaining records, filing tax reports, and preparing accounting transactions and documents.
Assist Human Resources Director with all employee relations activities; answers questions from job applicants and employees; explains company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures; improves employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems and coaching and counseling managers and employees.
Serves as Human Resources Information System administrator for all employee information; records data for each employee, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications;
Assists Human Resources Director with recruiting activities, including background checks and drug screenings
Collects and analyzes employee data to answer inquiries, provide information for personnel actions, or recommend human resource solutions.
Assists field administrators with routine HR practices as necessary.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
