Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Two - four years experience with hardware and software installation and maintenance

  • Minimum Two - four years experience in a user support role

  • Four years of Information Technology and two years of Information Security job experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associates degree can substituted for Bachelor's degree, with equvalent experience.

  • MCSE, MCITP, A+, Network +, Server +, Security +, CCNA certifications are preferred. Must be able to obtain at least one of the following within 6 months of employment; MCITP, A+, Server +, and/or Security + certification, with expectation to continue to pursue certifcations on an on-going basis.

  • Must be able to obtain a minimum of a Secret level government clearance.

  • Ability to quickly understand wide variety of windows software applications.

  • Expertise in workstation installation, configuration, service and process automation, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance

  • Application kowledge including installation, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office products, Sophos AV and encryption, Adobe products, and Apple and Android devices

  • Understanding of internet standards such as - DNS, SSL, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, DFS and other protocols

  • Hardware support for peripheral devices including printers, scanners, video and teleconference equipment

  • Network hardware including experience with switches, wireless controllers, and basic network troubleshooting

  • Windows client and server administration experience

  • Linux client and server administration experience a plus

  • VOIP phone system experience
