Robert Half Finance & Accounting Client Relationship Manager/Financial Advisor in Ellicott City, Maryland

Robert Half is currently seeking a Client Relationship Manager/Financial Advisor for a growing wealth management and investment consulting firm. The Client Relationship Manager/Financial Advisor is responsible for assisting in all facets of client engagement, client set-up, data gathering, modeling, scenario building, financial planning and developing and monitoring investment portfolios. In addition to client focused tasks, the position will entail enhancing the client service program, developing internal policies and systems and quarterly client reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Assist in managing client relationships, both individual and institutional. ? Assist in the preparation of client meetings – agenda, investment reports, financial plan, and financial analyses, etc. ? Participate in client meetings. ? Assist in monitoring and implementing changes to client portfolios. ? Assist/prepare financial analyses for both individual and institutional clients. ? Assist with back office tasks. ? Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on personal financial planning techniques, investment philosophies, and changing regulation. Qualifications: ? Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry with a demonstrated ability to work with clients. ? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; CFP designation or other professional financial designations (preferred). ? Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and highly proficient in Excel); Experience with financial planning, portfolio/investment research reporting and relationship management software. ? Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience. ? Series 65 or 66 registration (preferred), or ability to obtain in 90 days. Life insurance license a plus (not required). ?
