Robert Half Finance Accounting is actively recruiting a Controller for a multi-national high tech manufacturer. US consolidated revenue for this organization runs approximately $160M. This Controller position reports directly to the President and CEO for US operations. Senior leadership will be conducting first interviews in our office Thursday, June 22nd. Duties for the Controller include driving the day to day accounting for the Colorado Springs facility, ensure completion of periodical (month/quarter/half-year/year-end) creation of the Subsidiary's financial statements and of the consolidated US financial statements, Coordinate all activities of the audit process with internal and external auditors, Operatively guarantee the management control in terms of industrial accounting and management reporting, Research and evaluate proper corporate structures to maximize profitability and minimize tax liability, Manage U.S. fiscal obligation of the U.S. subsidiaries, by managing relationships with local tax consultants and fiscal authorities, Ensure adequate transferring pricing compliance, Submit proposals for tax structure changes as needed to group tax department, Guarantee that the treasury activities are correctly performed (cash inflow/outflows, cash flow, reporting on the investments in terms of budget proposals/approved expenditure/tied up amount/paid amounts, management of the netting in terms of proposals and data entry in the system, reporting on financed investments), Provide oversight and assistance to the organizations USA subsidiary Controllers on accounting, tax, audit, and financial statement issues. Provide assistance to other U.S. subsidiaries as needed, Participate in due diligence activities related to the evaluation of M A candidates, Manage IT matters, purchasing activities and payroll practices for USA subsidiary, Guarantee the organization's Export tax filing, compliance and structure, Manage direct reports by objective settings, review of performance, final performance evaluation, thus assuring development and training of collaborators in respect of development/training plans and budget.
