$105,000+ bonus Controller. The Controller will Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. The Controller will protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. The Controller will monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits. The Controller will provide information to external auditors.   • Preparing financial statements and financial reports; internal and external reporting; present monthly financials and analysis to Senior Management

  • Review budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Remain informed on operational trends

  • Monitor unit cost, program changes, and changes to control costs

  • Monitor achievements towards company goals

  • Provide in depth analysis to identify trends in business

  • Communicate reports to upper management

  • Identify issues and address as necessary

  • Monitor processes and systems ensuring compliance

  • Act as primary contact for audits REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's' degree in Accounting or related field

  • Public Accounting Experience with audit preferred

  • Fortune 500 Experience preferred

  • 5+ years related experience

Requirements: - Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred - Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Wide ranging experience with medicaid - General familiarity with health care audits of Medicare and Medicaid - Accounting policy experience desired - Earlier work involving public company reporting - Command of budgeting - Proven knowledge of information systems auditing - Financial auditing experience - Practical knowledge of month end closings - Auditing experience preferred - Strong familiarity with budget forecasting - Well-founded grasp of operational auditing - Quality experience with year end closings - Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - Hold self and others accountable for ensuring that results are achieved - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years as a Controller preferred - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment - Develop quality deliverables - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
