Robert Half Finance is searching for an energetic Controller to join a reputable manufacturing company. This leadership role oversees a bookkeeper and accounting manager. As the Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. The full-time Controller position is situated in the Cairo, Georgia area. Your responsibilities - Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Work closely with the business owner, executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management - Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis Please send resumes to email@example.com
